Other side of the moon

Happy Tuesday,

Whilst I am sharing a card that has some of the trees on it it isn't all about that set so I thought I could sneak it in!  This is more about the circle moon in the centre and how I used the multi stamping technique with the media plate to make this card!

I stared by running a mix of inks across the circular media plate using a brayer I then ran the brayer over the plate with the argyle mask in place to add some texture and stamped this.  Next I added black versafine ink all around the edge of the plate to create a border and stamped this.

I then stamped the tree over the plate, again using versafine, and stamped this onto the top of the image.  By stamping onto the plate rather than the piece of paper i was able to get the texture just on the circle.

I added the argyle mask over the finished piece and shaded through this using a green chalk ink.  I then stamped the tree over the design and finally used the small leaves stamp and added leaves in various shades of green and grey.

Finally I stamped the sentiment and matted this onto a piece of blue card before adding to a card blank.

Enjoy...

  5. Morning John, hope you have recovered from the weekend. This is a beautiful card and when I saw it I thought oh yes you do this, this, and this - I then read the instructions and got it right, I am so pleased, just goes to show I was paying attention at your workshop. Oh and my masks, inks and pink stuff came yesterday, I know it was not your fault.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
