Well today is the launch of my stamp sets on Create and craft, it would be great if you could tune in I've got some great demo's lined up (well I think so I hope you do too!) I thought I would just do a review of the main panels in the sets today as its getting late (Im writing this on Friday night) as I'm waiting for some PVA pearls to dry then Im done!
Todays shows are on at 10am and 4pm so its an early start!

Yesterday I was doing a workshop in Kettering at CE towers with a lovely bunch of ladies but more of that on Sunday! However it was a very fortuitous day to be there as my stamps arrived! Therefore I have included some pictures of the stock all piled up! There they are waiting to be packaged the next shot is of one of the wonderful ladies in the shipping department packing them...
I know its probably a little sad but I am so proud of them although the pile awaiting orders seems too large at the moment hopefully you have all liked my take on stamping and the cards I have created.
Back to todays seventh and final set (in this release lol) and I am finishing with the Lotus frames and elements set with this sample...
In this sample I have used the large lotus flower element stamp along with one of the sentiments in the set. To see more of the cards I have made in this set then you will have to tune in to the Create and Craft shows tomorrow (although I think there may be a few popping up as a sneak preview tomorrow!)
As usual I have include a picture of the whole set as there are so many more elements, as well a couple of main element frames, in this set along with even more sentiments a couple of them quite large which would work wonderfully for inserts...
These began shipping out to craft shops today!

Sometimes we all need to create something simple, classic and elegant todays stamp set is designed to give that look and flexibility. Todays set, called Fern frames and elements, contains some of my favourite ever sentiments. I have designed these sentiments to be relatively small (against some of the other sets that is) so that they will hopefully prove perfect for die cut cards or smaller thoughtful cards and creations. As die cutting is my primary craft I wanted a set that would work in tandem with more complex die cut cards that need a focul element that doesn't detract. This fist card hopefully demonstrates what I mean.
I have used one of the two fern frames in the set on this card which I have stamped onto a die cut square form Sue's Noble pierced squares set. I stamped the image using perfect medium and I dusted blue mica powder, from the garden floral set, over to reveal the image. As I said above i really feel this lets the die cut card shine but compliments the style.
The next card uses the elements form the set, again I felt it was important to allow you to use every element used in the design separately, to create a more dramatic card.
this is again stamped in perfect medium and mica however this time plain gold!
Heres the full set to view, last one tomorrow!

Firstly its my day to feature for the Creative Expressions Design team the card for this is below. I have used a selection of the new Couture Creations dies and embossing folders for today's DT card.
Secondly its day five of my stamp release so the first card is taken from my next new set which is Dogwood flower frame and sentiments. There is a story behind the drawing of this set as the inspiration came form a blouse of Mr ND's mum. I loved the flower on her top so at the table (we were out for a meal at the time) I drew it on a napkin and this set came from that original inspiration. This set is so flexible as not only can the elements be used on their own, the main image has been designed so that it can be easily decoupaged. This is achieved by either cutting the main image or by using the separate elements stamped to stack on top!
This first card is made just by using the foliage element and the smaller of the three dogwood flowers on the set. I made the age by drawing a circle off the edge and stamping around the pencil line.
This second card shows the elements used to make a random background with the main elements stamped, embossed and decoupaged. I coloured the image using the Autumn shades set of drawing inks. A simple card but I feel that that's the best way too show off the ease of use of this stamp set.
Finally here is my DT card for this week, I hope Creative Expressions don't mind me posting this at the end but I really wanted to get all my sets of stamps out there before my Shows on Saturday as I feel its important for all my blog family too see them first!

Todays set is more gentle and although I have put a sympathy sentiment in the mix I wanted a set that could be used for lots of accessions that need something gentler. Therefore I have included a range of sentiments in this mix that could be used in this or any situation.
The mix of elements in this set are really useful as well, I have included the outlines of the leaves as well as a solid stamp this allows you to make the look I have here. What I have done is to stamp the solid leaves in a colour then stamp over them with the detail stamp in archival black. This gives an easy build background or statement piece.
I have used the technique in this card for the background strip I have then used the central panel, coloured with a stunning range of Acyrlic drawing inks I have on the show on saturday.
As we all need, as card makers, a sympathy set I wanted this to be useful for other occasions so have included a second panel that is with a hand drawn sunflower, not a traditional sunflower but a flower that reminded me of the sun once I had drawn it.
Just a quick note on these sets I have been informed that stocks for craft shops should be ready next week so they should start appearing! Also as these were hand drawn the frames are supposed to be sketchy, they are not designed to be perfect squares as I really wanted that hand drawn look.
Another new set tomorrow!

Rather than a Card giveaway this week, as I need all the samples for my stamp launch on Create and Craft therefore I will be giving away a set of my stamps today! I will enter the name of everyone who comments on todays post and the chosen winner will get one of my new stamp sets (when I can buy one as still not sure of the stock levels) sent to them!
I have had a lot of questions from people asking where can you buy these at the moment the answer is I'm not sure! they are due for release to craft shops this week and I know quite a few ordered them but as to which ones I don't know. If you have a local craft shop I would advise, if you want a set or two that is lol, that you ask if they can order them for you. Failing that the whole range will be available on Create and Craft this Saturday.
Todays set is the third set from first range of stamps (as a reminder all the stamp sets featured this week were designed and drawn by me!) called Butterfly Dreams. When I was drawing these I had to do a butterfly because who doesn't love a butterfly! One on my favourite dies from Sue Wilson's die collections was the magical butterflies, so I had to match my stamps to this one so that I could use them on my show and for my samples.
Therefore the first card (pictured) today features the butterfly magic die and the matching stamp to die for as well as one of the main elements from this set. When I was demoing some of my stamps last week everyone loved the elements on this set, especially the bubbles. Therefore I thought I would show you one of the pages I made last week.

My chosen set for today is the Scribble rose set and this is the first design I drew and submitted. The idea is simple It is in the elements range so with this set you get the main oval sentiment frame, a selection of sentiments and all the elements that make up the main design. These first two cards are maddening the elements 2 of the scribble rose along with a selection of the leaves in the set. As the stamps are all acyrlic you can see where you are stamping which allows you to build up different designs.
The second card features a wreath made entirely using the elements in the set. I hand drew around a small plate to give me a circle. I then stamped around the circle using just 2 of the roses in the set and 2 of the foliage stamps. I then coloured in the wreath and rubbed out the penal line.
I have also designed a background to match . As you can see the backgrounds have been designed to match the outer die from most of Sue Wilsons striplet dies. I love the idea of the flexibility of this as you can repeat the design or cut in in panels with the die or even use it recessed with the die cutting an aperture for the stamped image to sit behind.
There should be a card to match these 2 showing the main oval element of this set however when I unpacked from stitches this set was missing I don't know if someone took it home by mistake or what so if I can get another there will be a few cards made in this set!
Scribble rose A5 stamp set from Creative Expressions - designed by me but now missing lol!

Happy Saturday Stampers!
Last Sunday was the first day of the Craft, Hobby & Stitch trade show and Creative Expressions launched all their new 2015 products therefore I can finally reveal what I have been beavering away at for the last couple of months! I have drawn, designed, tested and sampled my very own stamp ranges! I am so Proud of this my first range of Acrylic Stamps and Rubber stamp backgrounds.
The range, which has 7 separate A5 stamp sets and 4 backgrounds, is called the Elements range as I have designed these to be used in many different ways. I will be revealing a set every day for the next 7 days starting today with Daisy Corner and the first card shows the frame and one of the sentiments in the set. The elements range is designed to have one or two main elements or frames with all the individual pieces or designs used to make the main pieces also included in the set as individual stamps. Finally as I am an avid user of sentiments I have included a selection of different sentiments in each set.
There is also a background stamp to die for to match this set however I will reveal these over the coming days, don't want to show too much at once!! lol
The above image is the First set of stamps called Daisy Corner, I thought it might be nice to see the whole sheet.
The second card shows how you can use the individual elements to make your own background or designs piecing these together with the different elements. I chose a very simple design for this card just using the swirls, two of the daisies (there are 6 different sized and styled daisies in the set)
I hope you like my first set as much as I do and as I crafter I have designed these to be used to bring out your own creativity. Flexibility in craft products has always been what I have chosen to buy and use myself, now I have been given the chance to deliver flexibility and hopefully value in my range!
The stamp sets should be available from your local craft shops in the next couple of weeks and will be featured on Create and Craft on the 28th February along with a range of products (including Foundation card as so many of you have asked) that I have chosen to compliment my range.
These stamp sets are designed to give you the flexibility to create hundreds of different designs all based on your creativity or make a quick and simple card, the choice is yours!
Dont forget Sue Wilson is presenting the weekender with some fabulous new products this weekend on Create and Craft, tune in at 9, 12 and 6 today!
Another reveal tomorrow,

Well the first range of sneak peaks come to fruition today with m Decoupage shows on Create and Craft. I have added a few more pictures of these stunning papers. I hope you can all tune in and see what else I do with them!
The shows are at 10am and 4pm today.
The other news is that I have a workshop and Demo day at Daisies Jewels and Crafts in Bedworth (near Coventry) click here for more details. The cards below are two of the options for the workshop I have used some of Sues new dies and a range of Phil Martin's cosmic shimmer products in a choice of colours.
Don't forget that Sue Wilson has a weekender starting tomorrow on Create and Craft debuting more of her beautiful die collection's and finishing touches.
Back tomorrow with Saturday stamping!
Thursday, 19 February 2015
It seems to have been a week of sneak peaks and not the ones I had planned! As I mentioned earlier in the week the planned posts for this week have had to be delayed. However I can promise that the week of stamping and new product announcements will start on Saturday!
back to toady I thought I should give you all a sneak peak of some more of the lovely pares I have on Create and Craft tomorrow at 10am and 4pm.
This time I am showing some of the samples I have made to show the flexibility and shear beauty of these pares. If you are a regular follower of my blog you may have noticed that my profile states that I love Paper (as well as cheese) and this couldn't be truer the colours and patterns of papers are one of the things that got me into crafting in the first place. I can happily admit that, like most crafters I know, I am a closet paper stroker and often buy 2 packs, one to use and one to look at!
All the products I have decorated and shown here will be available as well as these books opposite for which I have a really cunning use for. However you will have to tune in to see the demo and what I am using them for as my lips are sealed and they are quite limited I think I have all the stock we have on tomorrows shows!
The range is a beautiful selection of traditional decoupage papers which I have put into 3 selections that I feel work well together. I have even put together a pack especially for men's projects one of which I used, with a selection of cosmic shimmer products, to cover this MDF birdhouse. I have also, of course, included some dies and die cutting and have managed to include the die which makes this rose and so many other beautiful flowers.
Hopefully you will get the chance to have a good look at the shows tomorrow, for now

I am happy to say that I survived my first three day trade show though I was in bed by 10pm last night (but back up at six as usual!) Today's post is late so that Sarah (the marketing Manager at Creative Expressions) and I can post at the same time as we worked together on this card!
At the show we both realised that in the melee of prepping we had missed that I hadn't submitted a project for the DT this week. We resolved to make one at the show however it was so busy that this card took us jointly three days! We decided on a mothers day card and thought wouldn't it be fun to use some of the new products that we were launching. The pictures are not my usual standard as we took these pic's on my phone at the end of the show on the stand!
The sentiment is made using 2 of the new release dies from Sue Wilson for Creative expressions range stamped with Phil Martin's Mother sentiment again from a new set of his (are you getting fed up with me saying new yet?lol)
The flowers were made by Sarah using the cornflower die in 2 sizes with Colour Cloud smoothie'd over the edges and a pearl dazzler in the centre. Sarah came up the idea of using the gilding wax (all the cosmic shimmer products used were from the new Colours released by Phil but I will let him announce them!) over the centre of the pearl embellishments. surrounding this Sarah added dots of the matching twinkles and we left the flowers hidden on one of the shelves on the stand to dry, stopping people picking them up was amusing!
Finally I added a layers of Heart lattice embossing folder (we couldn't manage to sneak one of the new folders form the stand to use) inked with the colour cloud and a few layers of coconut and lilac foundation card. The flowers were added over a knotted piece of crochet ribbon with some pearls swirls tide in and finished.
I hope you have enjoyed this trip around some of the new products which I am hoping to get to work with again as they are fully released and this joint project, a real Design Team piece!
No Ingredient list as not sure what we are allowed to say as yet! however click here to see what Sarah has said about her experience and get a glimpse of some of the new products on the Creative Expressions website!

Im still demoing here at the NEC and the blog posts I had scheduled had to be delayed due to stock issues also its another quick emergency post today. Todays card again features my favourite gemini die the Lyra. I made this just before christmas for a friends sister and I only managed to make a couple of quick pictures before he collected it.
This was taken on the corner of my desk quickly so hope its not too blurry! lol if you look carefully you can see my demo list behind and a page of notes can't remember which even or show it was for!
I hope you don't mind and normal service should be resumed later in the week!!

It's a quick simple post today as I'm writing this on my iPhone in the hotel for stitches tomorrow!
